Due to the adoption of the Louisville and Jefferson County EPSC Ordinance, area homebuilders, contractors, MSD Inspectors, and certified plan reviewers are required to attend training sessions and as a result, receive certification in compliance with the ordinance.  Certifications for all classes are valid for three years from the date of issue.

Unless otherwise noted, classes are held in the conference room at:

CLASS SCHEDULE FOR NEW OR RENEWAL CERTIFICATIONS
 
MSD – Contractor EPSC Training    780001
Designed for contractors, inspectors and utility company personnel who supervise construction.  This class explains the EPSC measures that are to be installed on construction sites as well as the paperwork necessary to comply with the EPSC ordinance.  Instruction also includes the EPSC process, maintenance & performance requirements, administration & enforcement and the education & training requirements.  Cost: $75

MSD – Homebuilder  EPSC Training    780002  
Homebuilders and inspectors will work together under the EPSC Ordinance. This class will allow the homebuilder to understand what the inspector will be looking for and the inspector will learn the EPSC methods to be installed. Cost: $75

MSD – Certified Plan Reviewer/Preparer EPSC Training    780003  
This class explains the requirements of the ordinance and how to use the design aids prepared by MSD. The design aids allow the designer to accurately design EPSC measures that meet the 80% removal required by the ordinance. Please note: Licensed professional engineers and landscape architects are not required to take this class. Cost: $150
